This is a book about how the Amish, who have reached so-called adolescence have to decide if they want to stay in their town or village and with their family, or do they want to go out and live in what other people call "The Real World."
For a short period of time they are allowed to live without the strict Amish rules they have lived with until this point in there lives.
It gave me a small review of a large group of people who live in this country, that I did not know much about. I liked it.
